If I buy a Leica Camera (vintage model) is it any good?
I need a camera for photography class, and I really like vintage cameras. So are they any good?
If they are in good working order they are excellent. They are NOT cheap but Leica rangefinder cameras tend to hold their value very well so they also make a pretty good investment as well. You should be able to sell it for about what you paid for it - maybe even MORE than you paid for it. Go for the "M3" model - its a classic. If you can afford it get a new or used Zeiss-Ikon rangefinder instead because it is more practical for everyday photography and still takes the legendary Leica lenses.
