Use flash with old-school 160T Ektachrome Tungsten Slide Film?
I am photographing my art portfolio for college submissions and several schools require slides. My art teacher kindly gave me slide film, but the slides are expensive and I only have one shot, considering I'm past the deadline! Please let me know, if you can help, whether or not I should use flash on my camera! (I'm extremely un-savvy when it comes to camera use, and I have a very simple sort of press the button and take the picture sort of camera, so ...) Thanks so much!
How obnoxious is the bluish tint? Like am I screwed if I just used half the film with flash?
No flash. Or you'll be blue-ish photos. It's made for tungsten (light)
Mount it on a tripod if you must.
(Even if you use daylight Ektachrome slide, using a flash will result in horrible glare.)

You'd have to use an "85" filter. See here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wratten_number to correct it. It's better to get a daylight balance slide for it than to correct it. Too much of a pain really.
