Splicing two copper wires together?
I recently bought copper wire to run from my pole to my breaker box, but I ended up needing more wire since the wire was already cut I bought a splice, liquid electrical tape and coated the two copper wires together to form a single piece. I used this wire as the neutral because I knew the connection would not be as strong. Is this okay, or will this cause problems?
ima thinking brody misunderstood your question. if you used the same gauge of wire to "stretch" it out, and the splice known as a "split nut", you're fine
