What are the advantages and disadvantages of computer based lecture versus chaldboard based lecture in college

looking for psychology course info for a research paper. comparing projective lecture (slides, overhead projectors and computer projectors) to manual lecture (chalkboards and dry erase boards. trying to determine if one is more effective than the other. trying to determine which is more enjoyable.

A chalk board is a tool and similarly a computer should be understood as a tool for conducting your task i.e. the lecture.

You can overcome some limitations of a black board using a computer. Black board being static, you can create dynamic examples using a computer to aid your explanations.

If you are using a computer to just create animations for text that you write on the board, like the case of many lines of text that blast on to the screen one after the other in case of news headlines being displayed, I think the use of computer would degrade your lecture rather than improve it.

A computer can never replace the lecturer or the black board.

Doesn't using written placards instead of writing on the board create a low opinion about the lecturer/teacher in the minds of the student.
