How to fix the blur on my projector?
I just bought a projector off ebay and when it arrived i noticed it had this slight blur that made reading anything hard. before you say to focus it i have tried all menu setttings possible and have adjusted the zoom and focus every way possible therefore its a hardware problem. the projector is a mitsubishi xd205r. i would like to know what i can do or what i can get cheap to fix this blur. links please if you find anything
Here are some possible solutions from the Mitsubishi website:
-Check the following: The projection distance may be beyond the focus area capability of the model you own. Refer to the specifications in the User’s Manual, and adjust the projection distance accordingly.
-The lens may be dirty. If so, clean it.
-The image projection size may exceed specifications. Reduce it to between 40-300".
-Brightness and/or contrast may need correction. Adjust accordingly.
-Fine adjustment may not have been done. Conduct fine adjustment.
-Tracking may need to be adjusted. Adjust tracking.
-The projector may not be perpendicular to the screen. Adjust the projector so that it sits at a right angle (90-degrees) to the screen. If the image still seems distorted, try using the Digital Keystone Correction function.
