Hatching Brine Shrimp Help?

I've been trying to hatch brine shrimp, and I haven't had any success. The label says that I should add a pinch of salt into the water and brine shrimp, then place it under a light bulb. I did exactly that, and waited 24 hours like it said, and still nothing. Is there something I'm doing wrong? BTW, the shrimp eggs aren't past the best before date.

If it helps, I got my brine shrimp eggs from a kid's microscope kit, which may or may not explain why it doesn't work. But I think it's just me...

na u need to have like a heater thats y they say use a lamp but thy didnt say its suppose to be a heat lamp. btw its aquirium salt not iodized salt from ur kitchen table. if ur friend hs an aquirim ask them for ome or ask a pet store for a a pinch of it. make sure u have an air pump for water movement... depending on weather you want to use them to feed your fish the eggs cud be to old do what i said alo try looking it up it cud help. good luck bro
