What type of bulb do I need for a dimming torchiere lamp?
I want one of those tall torchiere lamps with a dimmer knob, not one with 3 settings. I heard the bulbs can be difficult to find, and I am having an equally difficult time finding one online.
I figured before buying a lamp, I should know where to get the actual bulb first.
If the lamp has a dimmer switch, you should be able to use a standard incandescent light bulb. That should work just like a wall dimmer switch for a ceiling light.
