I want this picture onto a large canvas, (not sure of dimensions)

Should I screen print it onto the canvas or to trace it on using an overhead projector?
What do you think would look better?
What would be the pros and cons of each method? eg would screen printing loose the quality/detail?

Screen printing could be tricky unless you do it absolutely perfect. I wouldn't know how to "trace", but an image that complex for silk screen printing would be sorta hard.
