3M black chrome window tints disrupting wireless signals. Anyone have this problem? Are these tints worth it?
I have a new silver saturn Aura and I'm looking at the 3M black chrome tints. I've heard though that the metallic component can disrupt wireless signals. Has anyone had any problems with this? Also, there are like 5 different types of tints 3M makes, I really like the black chrome, anyone with any of the others like the ceramic tint have any suggestions/input on the types? Like which would look best on a silver car?
This film is an all metal and will block signals RF and EM It will block key less entry, etc.
Best bet (since 3M doesn't really make these films they re box them) is to check out the car tinting leader LLumar or FormulaOne see http://www.llumar.com if you want the same stuff 3M is repackaging go to http://www.SunTek.com
Ceramic CTX or Pinnacle will work best and look best.
